Gary Taubes

Gary Taubes is an investigative science and health journalist. He is the co-founder of the non-profit Nutrition Science Initiative (NuSI.org). Gary is the first journalist to win the National Association of Science Writers Science in Society Journalism Award three times (in 1996, 1999 and 2001).

Gary is the the author of three exceptional books: The Case Against Sugar (2016), Why We Get Fat and What to Do About It (2011) and Good Calories, Bad Calories (2007), published as The Diet Delusion in the UK. All of these books, but in particular Good Calories, Bad Calories are highly recommended. Numerous interviews, articles and lectures are provided on his website.

Dr. Paul Saladino

Dr. Paul Saladino is a leading figure in the science and application of the carnivore diet. He has used this diet to treat health issues in hundreds of patients. He is an enthusiastic advocate of “snout to tail” eating.
Paul’s book titled, “The Carnivore Code: Unlocking the Secrets to Optimal Health by Returning to our Ancestral Diet” is a fantastic survey of zero-carb eating and includes a wealth of scientific and medical research.

Dr. Georgia Ede

Dr. Georgia Ede is a Harvard-trained, board-certified psychiatrist specializing in nutritional and metabolic psychiatry. Her focus is empowering people with psychiatric conditions to reduce or eliminate the need for medications by changing how they eat.

Georgia states that eating vegetables is not always beneficial, probably not necessary, and that they may even put your good health at risk.

Dr. Ede is a regular speaker at conferences and international events. Particularly recommended is her freely available writing and free ebook on the health threats posed by consumption of common vegetables. She identified the considerable dangers associated with ingesting phytotoxins associated with  vegetables families such as cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower), nightshades (potatoes, peppers and tomatoes), beans, legumes, pumpkins and squashes.

Dave Feldman

Dave Feldman is a well-known practitioner of a Low Carb, High Fat (LCHF) diet. He has become a researcher in the phenomenon of cholesterol Lean Mass Hyper-responders (LMHR). Some practitioners of LCHF diets who are Lean Mass Hyper-responders experience a disproportionate rise in dietary cholesterol following the successful adoption of their new diet.
